Matt Alessi

Matt Alessi is the Chief Financial Officer of Adlore, a company that is developing a new device to treat and monitor diabetic foot ulcers. He joined Adlore in 2023 and oversees the financial strategy, planning, and operations of the company. He is also responsible for leading the fundraising efforts and managing the investor relations.

Matt has over 15 years of experience in finance, accounting, and business development. Prior to joining Adlore, he was the Vice President of Finance at Stryker Corporation, a Fortune 500 medical device company. There, he led the financial analysis and due diligence for over 50 acquisitions and divestitures, totaling more than $16 billion in value. He also played a key role in driving the integration and synergy realization of the acquired businesses.

Matt began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young, where he served clients in various industries, including healthcare, technology, and manufacturing. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Matt is passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the healthcare sector. He is an active mentor and advisor to several early-stage companies and organizations in Michigan. He also serves on the board of directors of Adlore and several other non-profit organizations that support education, health, and social causes.
