Peer-reviewed study: local heat and electrical stimulation for diabetic foot ulcers
This paper compared local heat alone with local heat plus biphasic electrical stimulation in people with chronic diabetic foot ulcers. Combination treatment was associated with greater reductions in wound area and volume over four weeks than heat alone. It is foundational academic research that informs SenLore’s intended mechanism. It is not a clinical trial of the SenLore commercial device and is not FDA clearance.
